An event dedicated to the International Day of Recycling
On March 18, 2026, an event dedicated to the International Day of Recycling was held at Makhinjauri Maritime School.
Within the framework of the event, 11th-grade students were introduced to proper waste management practices and the importance of environmental protection. They delivered engaging and diverse presentations addressing waste sorting, ecological challenges, and the creative reuse of materials.

On 7 March, 2026 students of the Maritime School of Makhinjauri visited the Ethnographic Museum of Kemal Turmanidze.
During the visit, they toured the museum, where various labor processes were presented through mannequins dressed in attire characteristic of specific professions, as well as through the display of authentic work environments and traditional tools and equipment. On March 4, 2026, at the Makhinjauri Naval School, an event dedicated to Mother’s Day was held, aimed at highlighting the special role of mothers in the life of the family, society, and the nation.
The event included artistic and literary compositions, poems performed by students in English and Russian, as well as letters dedicated to mothers.
