On 14 October 2025, a training session was held for the teachers of the Makhinjauri Maritime School, conducted by education expert Nino Fetviashvili.

On 9 October 2025, a public lecture on the topic “World Population Density and Global Challenges” was held for 11th-grade students at the Makhinjauri Maritime School. The lecture was delivered by the school teacher Sofio Nemsadze.

The purpose of the event was to familiarize students with the distribution of the world population and demographic processes, as well as to help them understand their causes and consequences.

Students actively participated in the discussion

On 8 October 2025, 12th-grade students of the Makhinjauri Maritime School, accompanied by their class teacher, visited the botanical garden.

The students toured the seed collection and herbarium departments, where they learned about the processes of seed collection, classification, storage conditions, and transportation. They also explored various plant sections and were introduced to the ongoing autumnal horticultural activities.

On 30 September 2025, an award ceremony for distinguished educators was held in the Adjara region, organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia. Among the honored teachers was Marina Abuladze, a physics teacher at the Makhinjauri Maritime School.

From 30 September to 3 October 2025, Giorgi Gabedava, the International Relations Specialist of the Makhinjauri Maritime School, participated in the EVBB EU Policy Camp 2025 held in Brussels.

The central theme of the event was “Open Schooling and Inclusion in VET”. The camp brought together experts, policymakers, and practitioners in the field of vocational education across Europe.
