Public Lecture: Georgian–Turkish Relations in Historical Perspective

On April 8, 2026, a commemorative event dedicated to the April 9 tragedy was held at Makhinjauri Maritime School.
During the event, students honored the heroes of April 9, who laid the foundation for Georgia's independence through the ultimate sacrifice of their lives.
The program featured historical chronicles reflecting the events of April 9, followed by a discussion on the enduring values this day represents—unity, the love of freedom, and responsibility toward one's homeland.
Open Day for Prospective Students
On April 3, 2026, an Open Day for prospective students was held in Batumi, in which the Makhinjauri Maritime School participated.
Within the framework of the event, representatives of various universities and colleges delivered presentations on the academic environment and responded to attendees’ questions.
