On 7 March, 2026 students of the Maritime School of Makhinjauri visited the Ethnographic Museum of Kemal Turmanidze.
During the visit, they toured the museum, where various labor processes were presented through mannequins dressed in attire characteristic of specific professions, as well as through the display of authentic work environments and traditional tools and equipment. The exhibition visually and vividly illustrated traditional occupations, allowing the students to gain a deeper understanding of the historical and cultural features of everyday life in Adjara.
The Ethnographic Museum is one of Batumi’s notable landmarks and holds significant educational value in introducing visitors to the folklore, traditions, daily life, and cultural heritage of the Adjara region.
