On April 17-21, 2023, a week dedicated to the Georgian Language Day was held at the Makhinjauri Maritime Lyceum.
The event was opened on April 17, the newspaper issue "Language is a palladium of nation" was published.
On April 18, an anti-barbarism event "Speak only in Georgian, only... speak in Georgian" was organized. An action called "No to barbarism!" was also held. The event was organized by class curators, and students of X-XI classes participated in it.
An artistic reading evening was held on April 19. Students read poems selected by their own will, as well as poems from their own creations.
On April 20-21, presentations were held in connection with the Georgian Language Day. At the event, teachers of Georgian language and history talked about the uniqueness and antiquity of the Georgian language.
