On March 24, 2023, the first International Exhibition “Batumi Book & Higher Education” was opened. Vocational students of Makhinjauri Maritime Lyceum attended the exhibition.
The aim of the exhibition was to popularize book reading, promote the development of the publishing sector and introduce modern technologies. Also, interested persons had the opportunity to get complete information about training programs, scholarships, grants and internships.
About 40 local and international institutions took a part in the first International Batumi Book and Higher Education Fair" - "BATUMI BOOK & HIGHER EDUCATION FAIR 2023", namely: higher education institutions, cultural and educational organizations and foundations, book distribution companies, publishing houses, printing houses, bookstores, magazines and newspapers, Georgian culture centers, foreign language centers.
The exhibition was organized by the Expo Batumi company in Batumi Sports Palace.
The head of the Makhinjauri Maritime Lyceum library, Inga Kavzharadze, curator Giuli Beridze and quality specialist Ia Verulidze attended the event.
