On 10 September 2026, an Open Day was held at the Makhinjauri Maritime School for vocational students admitted for the 2026 spring intake.

The participants met with the heads of vocational education programmes, representatives of the Quality Assurance and Educational Process Management Service, administrative staff and representatives of employer companies.

During the event, vocational students received information about the learning process and gained detailed insights into the learning environment, as well as the organisation of lectures and practical courses. Particular attention was paid to employment opportunities and the career development opportunities offered by the University.

In addition, certificates of appreciation were presented to a representative of the Makhinjauri Maritime School staff and vocational education teachers in recognition of their significant contribution to the training of vocational students and their support of the educational process.
